My name is Jessica...I perfer to spell it with a 'k', I'm not quite sure why. I'm 15 yrs old soon to be 16 on Aug. 23rd. I am 31 weeks and 1 day pregnant so far. 9 weeks left :). It's a little boy. I had decided to put him up for open adoption and found a WONDERFUL family, the Davis' (Julie and Jonathan). They are some of the most loving people I have ever met. I met them in person on May 10th of this year. I can't wait to share this little miracle with them for the rest of my life. I am so happy I found them. I know in my heart God put us together, and I thank him every night for it.

I have known Julie since the day she started 1st grade. She sat in the seat in front of me on the one-hour bus ride to school. She asked me at least 6 times, "What did you say your name was again?" I am three years older than her, so at the time, I was a "big kid". That was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. We grew up together and I can say she is a WONDERFUL person in every way. She and Jonathan will make AWESOME parents. Julie was (and is) such a blessing to me that I named my first child "Julia" in honor of her. May God richly bless you for giving life to your baby and for blessing Julie and Jonathan's life with a much wanted child. I also know that with the extended family that this little boy will have an abundance of love! You truly couldn't have picked a more wonderful couple to adopt your precious child!! Like the others who have posted so far, my husband and I fell in love with Jonathon and Julie from the moment we met them, and have heard their heart often about wanting a child of their own. Rest assured, your baby will have a wonderful, loving family, not only in the Davis home but their extended family as well. I think my sister Julie is the most awesome person in the world. She's fun, enthusiastic, cheerful, creative, a leader, a hard worker, a fantastic teacher, smart,thoughtful and so loving. Everyone she is around instantly adores her. She's just that kind of person. I always knew she would be the very best mom ever. So it's been really hard to understand why God has prevented her & Jonathan from having a child of their own. But now I know. He, in His wonderful wisdom and His perfect love knew that you were going to have a son, and He was picking out the most incredible parents to care for your baby boy. That's how much He loves you and your son. For if they had a child of their own, they probably wouldn't be looking to adopt. You see, as time passed and Julie and Jonathan were not able to have a child, I began praying that God would prepare a woman's heart to be loving enough and courageous enough to choose life for her preborn child and place that child through adoption into the childless arms of Julie and Jonathan. You have NO idea who i am but i kind of know you because i was a student of Julie Davis' third grade class in IL and gosh did i love her! I am now in fifth and the year is ending but when i start again i know Julie will be a MOM which was one job she terribly wanted! Julie would always be telling us how much she wanted a baby and she would always tear up when she would talk about wanting to be a mom, you have truely made her dream come true! I am so glad you kept the baby and found Julie and Jonathon. You have made the BEST decision EVER to choose them! She always called us her school babies which was true and she was our school mama! I rarely cry but when school ended i was crying my eyes out! I tried to keep in touch but then i got busy and stopped. But another friend of mine has kept in touch and told me she had found a birth mom! Then i e-mailed her and remebered her blogspot then i saw your blogspot and decided to write in your blog and i just wanted to say you are doing a great thing for yourself and the baby and a great favor to Julie and Jonathon!
